Train to feel good, not just to look good.

What is the JM Movement all about? My philosophy on exercise and the 30 day plan.

THE JM Movement
The JM Movement is about feeling better in your body both mentally and physically. By focusing on the mental benefits of exercise and eating well and how it makes you FEEL GOOD, hopefully you will learn to love exercising and eating healthy foods just as much as I do and you will start to realise how much of an impact in can have on the rest of your life.

My philosophy on exercise
For a long period of time I trained to look good and my focus was solely on changing my body. I was never ever satisfied and training became more of a punishment than an enjoyment. Since changing my approach to training about a year ago and started to do it to feel better on the inside and help my mindset, it has helped me benefit in so many more ways than I could ever think imaginable. And I want you to experience the same!

So why do we exercise?
It’s a fact that exercise releases endorphins (balls of happiness I call them) which makes you feel better. There are many different reasons why people exercise – most do it to get in a certain shape or lose weight. That’s great, but the way I see it, exercise is so much more than this. It’s an anchor that can fuel so many aspects of your life in a positive way. Everyone experiences it differently, but I want you to find out the benefits for yourself.

Train to feel good, not just to look good.

The training programme I have built includes 3 bodyweight workouts and 2 cardio workouts to complete in 1 week with two rest days (rest is very important!). I have set this amount because I think it’s very achievable and will help you become healthier in both your body and your mind.

30 day plan
My 30 day plan is a guide to get you started on being the best and healthiest person you can be. The plan is home based which can also be used outdoors, on holiday or in the gym. My aim with the JM Movement is to help you burn fat whilst building muscle, improve your fitness levels and become stronger and healthier in body and mind.
There are 12 great full-body workouts, some very simple yet delicious and healthy recipes, and some great motivational tips to help you along the way. It’s not a gruelling, tough and hard programme, but following it will require a lot of self-discipline and commitment – these two things are the only way you will achieve being the best version of yourself. One of my favourite quotes to date ‘sacrifice immediate pleasure in exchange for long-term self-respect and self-love’
